I would like to start by saying how genuinely excited I was to be selected for the L&D programme, as I knew there were limited spaces and this was a great opportunity to develop my skillset further while growing with the company. The course has made it possible for me to stretch my multitasking abilities further and we can easily refer daily situations and the best way to handle them through case scenarios we reviewed during our classes. Additionally, the L5 programme, has allowed me to spend quality time with my role models - the ROMs – and appreciate their input on a personal level from a greater, deeper, business perspective. I would recommend our L&D programmes to anyone ready to challenge themselves in order to grow personally and professionally.

I have been currently enrolled on the professional development programme and as someone who wasn’t a fun of education, I really enjoy this course. So far I have learnt a lot about management, Leadership styles, learning styles, dealing with problem staff and I am overwhelmed with this course. The academy program has been a fantastic learning process so far, It has given me a clear understanding of the different management styles and it has taught me how best to manage and teach my team to achieve great results. As a town manager, at times it has been very trying and demanding but the rewards have made it all worthwhile. I work in is a premium venue with a premium team and nothing is ever too much for any of us.
