Description

To work as part of the property department reporting directly to the Head of Property capable of dealing with all aspects of acquisitions and property management. The role will assist with the ambitious expansion plans of the business and related on-going management, including dealing with all aspects of the lease both from a landlord and tenant perspective. This will include the managing of external solicitors and consultants.

Once the successful applicant is established the role will allow a degree of autonomy and allow the individual to assert their own personality and style within the department.

The successful candidate will be degree level educated and a Chartered Surveyor with an absolute minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. The Ideal candidate will have been in a role dealing with acquisitions previously.

 

Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the Head of Property and dealing with,

                Acquisitions

Rent reviews and Lease renewals (including managing external consultants).

Property Inspections to help identify maintenance issues (to allow effective budgeting).

Reporting through Propman and other systems.

Assist with Health and Safety compliance with a good working knowledge in the area.

Planning liaising and instructing external consultants

Dealing with dilapidations and instructing building surveyors.

Running Service charge and ability to challenge landlords on budgets.

Assisting the project teams in coordinating landlords consent, where required.

Requirements:-

                Willing to travel including overnight stays (essential)

                MRICS qualified with a minimum of 2yrs PQE (essential)

                Property Related degree or conversion.

                Retail experience either in agency or from a tenant’s perspective.
